I smell something tasty....

is precisely what Ava said when she came down stairs this afternoon. We are making banana bread with Chocolate chips in it. Yummm...I will post a recipe in a bit....

Here it is.

1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon of salt

2 eggs lightly beaten
1 cup of mashed bananas
3/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of cooking oil~ I use veg. oil

In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

In a large mixing bowl stir together egg whites, banana, sugar and oil.

Stir flour mixture into banana mixture just until moistened. I also add about a 1/2 cup of applesauce just so the bread will be a bit moist. I think this is what makes this recipe actually. I normally also put either raisins, choc. chips or walnuts. YUMMM.

Spray a 8x4x2 inch loaf pan with non stick spray
Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 in oven for 45 mins~ or until middle is firm and bread is golden.

Cool bread for 10 mins or like my girls like, they like to eat it straight out the oven.

Bon Apetite~

Well this post will be trying to catch up on my life as of today. Almost a year ago I found out we were expecting our 3rd child. It was actually a week exactly from Thanksgiving. What a way to to celebrate Thanksgiving. Being Thankful for the gift of life the Lord Blessed us with.

I was actually looking back on my older post of the trouble I "felt" I was having trying to get pregnant. I would like to partially recant how I was feeling. Partially meaning because with the first two girls we had little difficulty getting pregnant and I expected the same to happen the third time around when in reality we had little difficulty the third time around also. So I totally understand how much more difficult it is for other women to conceive.

Chuck E. Chesse

So, Aaron and Gabrielle birthdays are 7 days apart and so there birthday celebrations were celebrated together, so to speak. We have been so busy these first 2 weeks in September that we could not just do cake, ice cream and make sure every one we wanted to celebrate with was joined together all at the same time. So with this in mind, we tend to break up the activities. Aaron's first available day off to take Gabrielle to Chuck E. Chesse just so happened to be on his actual birthday and so Aaron and Gabrielle both got to spend /celebrate thier birthdays at Chuck E. Chesse. We had a blast..Everyone would ask Aaron what he did and he would tell them he went to Chuck E. Chesse for his birthday. No, we did end up doing something with friends for his birthday later on in the month. A month of memories!!!
