Aaron's Dad, Samuel, is an amazing, amazing carpetner! So, if you are one of there Button children and you get married, you can hope that Dad will make you a headboard. Well, he would build the headboards shortly after you get married (they have 6 children). Well since we been married for 7.5 years Dad has just presented us with not only a headboard but a WHOLE ENTIRE BED !! Pretty AMAZING !!! I found him a picture of the style I was interested in and away he went.
Clarification, it did not take him that long to build the bed. The year we were married, a Button Sibling was expecting their first baby. That is another thing he does he will build you a crib for your first baby you expect - another tradition he has started.
It was so worth the wait. I LOVE it. My first fine piece of furniture. It will always be something special, meanigful. It will be greatly cherished for and thru the years to come.
