I'm still here....

Still no cable so I can't really blog and by the time Aaron gets home from work with his laptop I'm too tired to think a complete sentence.

I think I can do it tonight. I'll try to get you up to speed of things that have happened over the past 2 weeks. WOW. We will be living here for 2 weeks tomorrow. Time has flown but doesn't it when you have the youngins' running around. :)

We had neighbors come ring our doorbell the day after we moved in to introduce themselves. They have 1 son who is 14, and 2 girls one girl who is Jazmin, (will be 5 tomorrow actually and we are going to the birthday party) and the other daughter is Lily 3, same age as Gabrielle. The Dad is a M.D. and he does research for breast cancer and he is also on the board for our Homeowner Association. The mom is from Thailand and she is very sweet. The girls have become fast friends and they play often during the week.

So far we still like the neighborhood we moved in and the neighbors. We do have another set of neighbors who are overly helpful........ They live in a group home. I guess I can't really think of the political correct word to describe them but "slow" and my apologies to someone who has a friend or family member like this.

They have enough knowledge about certain things, Chris was asking Aaron where he works and he was trying to educate Aaron on that, the city we live in there is only Com cast and Verizon for cable, internet and phone.

Aaron met one of them the night before we moved in he (CHRIS) came up and introduced himself to Aaron. Aaron was a bit concerned but we have talked to the neighbors and there has not been any trouble. There are 3 clients total there, Chris told Aaron. So far it seems like they go somewhere during the day and the Manager has a lawn business that they have them involved in to keep them busy. Whenever I see them they eager to wash the car or mow the lawn so still a bit of a concern there but so far things seem fine.

I have Aaron's smart phone during the day to GPS my way around here, So that has been helpful. I, by myself have gone to the grocery store, Joann fabrics.

Speaking of Joann's my dining room chairs had been re-upholstered by husband by my husband a yr ago but they had gotten so filthy with the kids spilling things on them that it was time to get a new dining room table/chairs.

Instead my sister in law had a wonderful idea to recover them with a chocolate leather. With the leather if something is spilled, it can be wiped off simply, instead of having to indure the pain of the most embarssing looking chairs EVER because the kids have spilled so many kool aid drinks, bowls of cereal, bowls of fruit cocktail juice on them. WELL, she did that for me yesterday. I will be posting pictures.....SOON. I also will be posting pictures of our house soon. I've gotten a few request.

So that is just a little bit of what has been going on...more to come.....
