FAMILY reflection
I have been deeply pondering what family means. I always have. Family is very important to me. Always has been. But I as a human take things for granted and so I have also taken people for granted.
I have experinced 2 deaths in my immediate extend family in the last 18 months. To me that is just not something normal. Sure, death is normal but you know, grieving is not something you go through everyday. It is painful.
I lost my grandfather 18 months ago. And I just lost my cousin 3 weeks ago. And what you should have done or been more intentful about always crosses your mind. Something to reflect on.
Always be intentional, you will live with the regret that you didn't give it all you had. It's totally worth it to go the extra mile for other people.
You should always be kind to others because the person who you may have mistreated (make you wonder if the mistreatment was worth it) may and will be the one ( and only ) who will advocate for you in your most needed hour.
