Exactly a week ago today and time as well, Aaron ( in the moving truck), myself (in our spare vehicle), his Mom( in her car) and his Dad( in our Black Armada) were on our way to start a new chapter in our lives. As we arrived at our house here in Northern Virginia at about 1 a.m.. This week has been filled with, well just getting familiar with everything.
Neighbors
Shopping
Our new House
Education
Churches
Aaron's new work schedule
These are the things I have been trying to get used to this week. I will make more elaborate post on each when I have better computer access. Right now problem at hand is I have NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cable or Internet. I know !! You ask, how is it that my husband is a Manager for a cable company and I have cable or Internet.
( Right now, I have Aaron's smart phone, but c'mon, there is only so much you can do with that. lol. I can use Aaron's laptop when he gets home at 9:00 at night but I'm totally exhausted by then. So that is what I'm using. totally grateful for what I do have please don't think I'm not just a little hormonal right now. )
Well, we don't live in the area that Aaron's job services. We live outside it, so we would have to go through another company to get cable. Aaron's job, they have courtesy accounts thru another company in the area we live in for Internet and cable access. Aaron's peers at work say that the company is really Slllloooowww. Someone even mentioned to him, it could take up to 6 weeks !!!
Let me assure you I'm not an addict, but cable and Internet sure do break up the day when you have 3 little ones and there is a growing baby in your stomach and your physical activity is limited more and more each day.
Anyway, I'm sure you want to read about my pity party of not having cable or Internet.........NOT, but when you don't have it NOW and you did have complete access to it and you expect to have complete access to it. especially when moving to a new area, well, it kinda aint cool. lol.
